Greater Vancouver Chamber Announces the 2024 Iris Awards’ Finalists

GREATER VANCOUVER CHAMBER ANNOUNCES THE 2024 IRIS AWARDS' FINALISTS

The recipients of this honor will be revealed on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Iris Awards Luncheon, a highlight of the Greater Vancouver Chamber's Inspire HER Conference. 

Vancouver, WAThe Greater Vancouver Chamber (GVC) is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2024 Iris Awards, presented by Riverview Bank. This esteemed recognition will be bestowed upon three exceptional women during the Iris Awards Luncheon, a highlight of the Chamber's Inspire HER Conference, on Thursday, March 7th, at 12:00 pm, hosted at the Hilton Vancouver Washington.  

For over three decades, the Women of Achievement and now the Iris Awards have shone a spotlight on the remarkable women of Southwest Washington who have left an indelible mark on their community. Since its inception in 1985, this prestigious award has celebrated the exceptional achievements of women who embody outstanding leadership, philanthropy, and public service.  

Each year, our community nominates women whose significant contributions have enriched the region, making it a better place. Through their leadership, these women inspire us all to strive for excellence and make a positive difference in the world around us.  

The sheer volume of nominations has made the final selection process quite challenging for the Awards Committee. 

The finalists for the 2024 Iris Awards are:    

  • Anna Cruz- Executive Director, Founder, Vancouver Ballet Folklórico 
  • Amy Reynolds- Executive Director, Share     
  • Carmen Nazario- President, ELYON International, Inc. 
  • Cory Donovan, MD- Legacy Health  
  • Jamie Spinelli- Homeless Response Manager, City of Vancouver  
  • Jasmine Ames- Vice President Relationship Manager, U.S. Bank 

After several years of being a virtual event, the Iris Awards return this year as an in-person celebration, as part of the Greater Vancouver Chamber's Inspire HER Conference. Community members are encouraged to secure tickets for the awards ceremony and partake in the joyous festivities. About the Iris Awards

Wanting to recognize women of achievement in Southwest Washington who exemplified leadership, philanthropy, and community service was the inspiration for the Iris Awards in 1985. For 39 years, the Southwest Washington community has nominated outstanding women for recognition. The Iris Award is held to commemorate National Women’s History Month, to recognize International Women’s Day, and to honor volunteer efforts and community leadership of women in Clark County.
