Summary:
Dave Kurtz will talk about estate planning for business owners and what to expect if a partner passes away with or without a will. Danielle Paradis will cover how property division, spousal support, and child support can become more complicated for business owners or self employed people and steps they can take to reduce uncertainty. Rob Russell has 26 years of legal experience. He will discuss the effect of a partner declaring bankruptcy, some of the liabilities business owners face if they file bankruptcy, and how bankruptcy may or may not be effective in shielding liability.
