    If you're a business or nonprofit with 15 full time employees or less, and have a GVCC membership in good standing, you are eligibile to compete for the Chamber's Small Business Saturday Grant, sponsored by Columbia Credit Union! 

    Starting on November 1st and ending on Small Business Saturday (Nov 24th this year), all enrolled members in the Small Business Saturday Grant program will go on a social media posting spree! This isn't about voting, we're looking for quality over quantity. Your goal, as a competing business is to connecting with past customers, current customers, employees, your vendor partners, and your personal networks to encourage them to share on social media on your behalf. The bonus - all these voices add up to amplify the shop local message during the start of the holiday shopping season.

    Your network's social media (facebook, twitter, instagram) posts are your entries into win the grant. We will produce supporting graphics, countercards, buttons, and more to help you share the message to post on your behalf, with the settings on public and include our hashtag; that will enable their post to appear on our contest board where we draw the top 12 "best post." A committee of two GVCC staff and two sponsor reps from Columbia Credit Union (our program partners) pick the recipients and checks will be awarded on the first Wednesday in December at SW WA Leads & Needs.
