Volunteers Needed - SWCA Middle School Construction Camp

Southwest Washington Contractors Association

We’re gearing up for another exciting year of Middle School Construction Summer Camps, and we’re looking for volunteers who want to make a real impact in building the next generation of trades professionals.

Each week in July, we’ll be at a different high school, giving students hands-on experience with tools, projects, and real industry mentorship:

Ridgefield High School: July 6–9
Washougal High School: July 13–16
Hockinson High School: July 20–23
La Center High School: July 27–30

Volunteer shifts are flexible and easy to plug into:

AM Shift
PM Shift
All-Day Shift

Camp runs 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

These camps are one of the most rewarding ways to get involved with our workforce development efforts. Volunteers help students learn how to safely use tools, build projects they’re proud of, and explore what a future in the trades can look like. It’s fun, hands-on, and incredibly meaningful for the kids who participate.
