HOPE Ambassador — Volunteer Role

Become a HOPE Ambassador and turn your time, talents, and heart for community into meaningful impact.

HOPE Ambassadors are committed volunteers who help bring HOPE Dementia Support’s mission to life throughout our community. Rather than volunteering for just one event, Ambassadors become part of the ongoing HOPE team—helping with programs, events, outreach, education, fundraising, and other opportunities throughout the year.

As a HOPE Ambassador, you may:

  • Welcome and assist guests at HOPE programs and events
  • Help with event setup, check-in, hospitality, activities, and cleanup
  • Support Memory Cafés, Meet Me experiences, educational programs, and community events
  • Represent HOPE at community fairs, outreach events, and partner activities
  • Assist with our Annual Auction & Gala and other fundraising efforts
  • Help prepare materials, resources, mailings, or special projects
  • Share your professional skills or talents where they can make an impact
  • Help spread awareness of HOPE and the resources available to families affected by dementia

You don't need to be a dementia expert to become a HOPE Ambassador. We're looking for caring, dependable people who want to get involved, build relationships, and make an ongoing difference. Training and guidance are provided, and we'll work with you to find opportunities that fit your interests, strengths, and availability.

Some Ambassadors volunteer several times a month, while others participate when their schedules allow. What matters most is a willingness to stay connected to HOPE and volunteer throughout the year, rather than looking for a one-time service opportunity.

Why become a HOPE Ambassador?

You'll have the opportunity to meet incredible people, build connections throughout our community, use your skills in meaningful ways, and help ensure that people living with dementia and their care partners have access to connection, education, resources, and HOPE.

Ready to get involved? Become a HOPE Ambassador and find your place in our volunteer community.
