Job Overview


We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Contract Graphic Designer to support our team on a project and as-needed basis. This hourly position is ideal for a designer who can translate ideas into engaging visual content while maintaining brand consistency across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to create high-quality marketing, digital, and print materials within established timelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce marketing materials including but not limited to flyers, advertisements, and promotional assets.
  • Create digital content for websites, email campaigns, social media, and other online platforms.
  • Develop visual concepts that align with brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
  • Revise and update designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
  • Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Stay informed of current design trends, tools, and best practices.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a freelance or contract capacity.
  • Knowledge of/experience in print production processes and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or other relevant design software.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical design skills.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and branding principles.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or web design is a plus.


Preferred Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of/experience in print production processes and specifications.
  • Ability to create assets for a variety of mediums


Position Details


Employment Type: Independent Contractor / Contract Position


Compensation: $50/Hr., based on experience and qualifications; Project-based compensation is negotiable


Schedule: Flexible, project-based workload


Hours: Varies based on project needs
