Thirty-Five Professionals Ready to Lead with Confidence

Strong nonprofit leadership starts with the right knowledge, skills and tools. GVC’s BoardReady Certification Program helps aspiring and current board directors build the confidence and capabilities needed to serve their organizations and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Offered twice in 2026, the program provided participants with practical guidance to strengthen their leadership skills and better understand the responsibilities of effective board service.

Last Thursday, GVC recognized 35 professionals who graduated from the program, marking another important step toward strengthening nonprofit leadership and governance throughout Southwest Washington.
