Beautiful autumn colors provided the perfect backdrop for a special milestone at Providence Academy as the community gathered to dedicate the new Sacred Heart Plaza at Ed Lynch Square.
GVC was honored to join The Historic Trust for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the plaza’s dedication and the unveiling of Rooted in History, a new outdoor interpretive exhibit designed to help visitors connect with Providence Academy’s rich past.
These additions offer new ways to experience and appreciate the history of one of Vancouver’s treasured landmarks. By creating welcoming spaces for gathering, reflection and discovery, the plaza and exhibit support the continued preservation of Providence Academy and its important place in the community.
The dedication marks another meaningful step in honoring the stories, people and history that have shaped Vancouver. GVC is grateful to celebrate alongside The Historic Trust and the community members who help preserve Southwest Washington’s unique heritage for future generations.
