Vancouver, Wash. - CDM Caregiving Servies, a local nonprofit that serves as Clark County’s oldest and largest provider of in-home care for older adults and people of all ages with disabilities, is pleased to announce that Maggie Bernetich has joined the organization as its new Development Director.
Bernetich is a recognized emerging leader in the Clark County community. She is a 2026 graduate of Leadership Clark County and was named the recipient of the 2025 Emerging Leader Award. She brings extensive experience in fundraising, community engagement, and events to her new role.
Most recently, Bernetich served as Annual Giving and Events Manager at Council for the Homeless (CFTH), where she led campaign initiatives and helped elevate the organization’s community-based events. Throughout her career, she has been a mission-driven professional focused on building stronger, healthier communities through partnership and communication. She is excited to bring her experience and passion to CDM and contribute to a mission that is especially meaningful to her.
“Caregiving is something that touches every family, and it feels deeply personal to me. I’ve seen firsthand the difference compassionate, quality care can make as families navigate some of life’s most difficult moments. My own family has experienced caregiving at the end of life and has been touched by dementia and Alzheimer’s, so I understand how important it is to have support when you need it most. I’m honored to join CDM and excited to help strengthen the organization’s ability to be there for individuals and families in our community," said Bernetich.
