Business and policy leaders from across Washington came together in Spokane to discuss issues shaping the state’s business environment.

More than 200 business and policy leaders from across Washington gathered in Spokane for the Association of Washington Business (AWB) Annual Policy Summit, a three-day event focused on the issues and opportunities impacting businesses and communities throughout the state.

Representing the Greater Vancouver Chamber and Southwest Washington, President & CEO John McDonagh participated in the summit alongside business leaders from across Washington.

The event provided an opportunity for attendees to connect, exchange perspectives, and hear from leaders on a range of topics affecting Washington’s economy and business community. Discussions included tax and fiscal policy, the economy, higher education, energy, autonomous vehicles, wildfire recovery, and more.

Gatherings like the AWB Annual Policy Summit create opportunities for business leaders from different regions and industries to come together, share insights, and better understand the challenges and developments affecting businesses across the state.

For GVC, participating in statewide conversations like these helps strengthen connections between Southwest Washington’s business community and leaders from across Washington.

We’re grateful to AWB for bringing business and policy leaders together for meaningful conversations and opportunities to connect.
