In 2017 the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce will evolve our “Shop Local” event into the “Pop-Up Marketplace,” presented by Columbia Credit Union with support from Chick-fil-A.

    We will take the same premise of showcasing local options for goods and services into an outdoor setting, strategically placed as an artery into downtown Vancouver.  Our goal is to attract the community to the Pop-Up Marketplace which will be a low-cost, high-reward venue for merchants and a promotional opportunity for the downtown core of Vancouver. 

    The Pop Up Marketplace will take place this summer in conjunction with the City of Vancouver’s highly successful and well-attended Riverview Six to Sunset Concert Series at Esther Short Park. The Pop Up Marketplace will occur on three dates during the summer of 2017 before and during the Riverview Six to Sunset concerts: July 6th, July 27th, and August 10th. The Pop Up Marketplace would be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, with set-up beginning at 2:30 pm. 


    We have the capacity to include 34 10x10 spaces and some unique spaces in our first year.  

    We are looking for vendors in the following areas: prepared foods (selling "ready-to-eat" products), processed foods (think jams, nut butters), packaged edibles, artisan crafts, retail/merchants, interactive/prize driven, and family focused booths.
