May is Vancouver's Small Business Month
The Mayor of the City of Vancouver has proclaimed that all of May is "Small Business Month!"
The National Small Business Week is the first week of May.
The GVCC and it's members and partners have a full month of programming - Join in!
5/3 Small Business Resource Open House @ 4;30pm.
The Greater Vancouver Chamber's quarterly open house featuring business support groups that can assist people wanting to start a business, or existing businesses with tools and resources to service areas of need like: bookkeeping, marketing, funding, time management, and human resources. There will be a number of business support group available to meet like: Score – Vancouver, Small Business Development Center, Clark College and WSU programs available to businesses and individuals, the Small Business Administration and so many more.
We’re going to make a statement – Small Businesses are the Backbone of our Community! Join us at Bleu Door Bakery at 10:30am along side Vancouver Mayor, President of the Uptown Village Association and many more special guests as the Red Coat Ambassador team leads the way at six stops in a .6 mile loop around Uptown. We’ll finish roughly at noon at Trap Door Brewing. No cost to attend. Wear red and be willing to post a small business message at each stop!
