For Chamber members, getting involved in the Chamber of Commerce can be daunting. That’s where the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce’s Membership Mentor Program, “M & M” launched last year, comes to the rescue.

The Chamber M & M’s main function is to meet new Chamber members, mentor them and help foster their connections to the Chamber. Each new member who attends a Chamber orientation is assigned one M & M team member to serve as their personal mentor. They meet the new member at events, and serve as consultants, helping the new member learn how to make the most of their new Chamber membership.

The M & M program helps longtime members as well by assisting them to reconnect to the Chamber. New company employees of long-time member businesses can also benefit from mentorship.

Once a month, the Chamber hosts a Member Orientation. Mentors attend each session and discuss how to benefit from membership. Join us on the first Thursday of each month for a fast-paced session on “Getting Connected.” Times vary – check the Chamber’s monthly news magazine, ChamberNews or call the Chamber for the scheduled time at 360-694-2588.
