Covington Middle School is seeking organizations working in fields related to water, weather and climate, biogeology, and electromagnetics and electric engineering. Students will be learning about these topics in class, and we would love for individuals and companies to join us in showing youth how what they are learning in school is relevant to careers, opportunities, and issues in our region.
Presentations will be held during the schoolday over three class periods on Thursday, February 8 and Friday, February 9, beginning at 8 am and concluding in the early afternoon around 2:30 pm. There will be a long break between the second and third periods. Students will be rotating between up to four presenters during the period, so presentations need only be around 15 minutes long. We encourage participants to join for both days, but participants can join for one of the two days.
