Yoga and the Workplace - Techniques to Promote Energy and Reduce Stress

Instructor: Angie Cherry, Body Bliss Yoga

Description: One of the biggest challenges about being in the workplace is keeping your energy levels up and your stress levels down. It’s a fine balance between being productive and also relaxed, but that is exactly what yoga can do for you in just a few minutes right at your desk. Angie Cherry, owner of Body Bliss Yoga will take you through stretching and breathing techniques that promote balance in the nervous system as well as increased oxygen flow for more energy, better focus and to lift your mood. Small moves to build strength in postural alignment and stretches to create space in all the right places will also be presented so that you can remain balanced, productive and energized throughout your day.

About Angie: Angie Cherry is the Creator of Body Bliss Yoga Studio, an RYT Certified Instructor, an IIN Certified Health Coach and the Lead Instructor of Fly High Yoga Teacher Training. Her degree is in Computer Science and for many years she spent time at a desk working in construction and with web and graphic design. She has a love and appreciation for both business and movement and understands the need to balance both in this busy world. She believes in the ability for the body to communicate what it needs and loves to help people become more aware of the mind-body connection through movement, food and mindfulness.
